Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization : Supporting the Accounting Manager in Accounting functions incl. tax for the Singapore legal entities and ensure the accounting records are compliant with approved accounting standards and statutory requirements. Liaise with accounting functions GBS team, local Singapore and SEA hub business function. Key Responsibilities : AR & AP Wholesale, Retail & eCom AR & AP: Support of account payables and receivables, ensuring complete supporting documents according to company guidelines, principles. Timely and accurate processing of daily receipts , monthly vendor invoices and payments Managing weekly GIRO collection and upkeeping of GIRO application for vendors Submission, coding (GL) and reconciliation of invoices Ecom sales reconciliation MONTH/ YEAR END Review month end closing entries, including supporting analyses. Timely support on month end closing and reporting and meet the requirements set within the adidas Finance policies OOH accruals and reclass Month end reporting TAX & AUDIT Timely support on corporate tax queries Supporting the audit process and preparing required data, documents, and information OTHERS Liaise with GBS to ensure items under their responsibility are posted timely and accurately Support intercompany recharges (monthly and quarterly) Prepare accounts’ reconciliations for Balance Sheet Reconciliation Filing of Letters and Cheques Maintaining bank records Ad-hoc analysis and reporting as required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : Strong knowledge in MS Office applications and ERP system: especially SAP, Excel, Outlook Knowledge of local regulations and International Financial Reporting Standards Ability to handle full set of accounts is advantageous Strong attention to detail Result oriented and deliver on time in all internal and external deadlines Team player, pro-active and communicative Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications : Minimum Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent 3-5 year experience in financial accounting in multinational environment Industry : Retail experience is advantageous Fluent in English, written and spoken
