Requisition ID: 73368 Job Description Role & Reporting The senior engineer reports to the Yield Manager, focuses on Yield and Process Integration for SAW, BAW and/or MPS product line(Filter Technologies). Responsibilities include managing process route, process restrictions, defect analysis, and reporting of the yield and related issues. Experience in Filter technology, RF parametric, Pick and Place and/or SMT would be advantageous. Data Analysis and Tracking Utilise available data repositories across sites for process evaluation. Track parametric and defect related yield losses and projections for upcoming timeline. Root Cause Investigation Investigate/Pinpoint sources of yield loss causes in the manufacturing line. Deploy yield enhancement strategies & develop a quick data analytic system to characterize defects and react to yield issues and baseline shifts quickly. Perform first level commonality analysis, SPC & in line process data, material data, machine log and machine break down data, fault detection, yield loss, defect pareto, inline metrology and defect inspection data. Collaborate with internal teams/across sites for improvements. Report findings and drive corrective actions. Take ownership of quality related issue, pull in the relevant stakeholders, and formulate a plan for recovery. Continuous Improvement Take lead or assist in short term problem solving and long-term yield enhancement projects. Monitor & Optimisation Daily monitor product yield, achieve targets, and develop yield enhancement methods. Involve in productivity & cost improvement projects through process optimisation with quality improvements tools. Competencies that will be learnt: Ability to understand Quality & Yield performance by product, process & equipment. Understand the whole process of production line from initial BE process steps and integrate to final test. Familiarity with the data repositories/databases available and utilize for problem on hand. Cross function interaction and continuous improvement across various departments and sites Able to lead a team to setup requirement and develop a good big data analysis tool for improvement. Job Requirements • Degree in Microelectronics, Electronic,Electrical Engineering or Physics • High level of discipline and integrity • Willing to undergo job rotation/ cross training. • Possess a positive attitude and sense of urgency. • Meticulous, keen attention to details and organized.
