Job Summary This role will be acting as an Assistant Engineering Manager in Asia Markets engineering team, supporting the projects development across the countries. With the focus in finance initiative, he/she will need to work closely with Product Owner in application delivery team and business stakeholders to drive the technical and architecture design in order to achieve the Company’s goals. Job Responsibilities: Work with Technology and business product owners on shaping project requirements and solutions and responsible for solution delivery Understand business requirements and how they translate in application features Work with business analysts to recommend updates to core systems to the team responsible for development Collaborate with a team of IT professionals to set specifications for new applications and develop user stories Evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update and add new features Develop technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code Integrate software components and third-party programs and libraries Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software Recommend and execute improvements to programs, systems and processes Create technical documentation for reference and reporting. Job Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, computer science, information technology or other related field required 5+ years of experience in software development with around 1 year of team leading experience is a plus 3-5 years of experience in Oracle database development Strong knowledge of Oracle database concepts, including data modeling, normalization, and querying Experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle database administration Solid experience in Finance system especially in SAP Soild experience in designing and implementing APIs and Microservices Knowledge in Cloud technology such as AWS Fast-learner, analytical and problem solver, keen to adopt latest technologies in a challenging environment, Strong communication skills Proficient in English Powered by JazzHR
