We are seeking to hire an Associate to support the Investment Group in the evaluation of global investment opportunities in both nature-based solutions and technology-based solutions. The individual should be highly motivated, intelligent and sound judgement and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavours. This role offers the unique opportunity to join a fast-growing and dynamic organisation in Singapore. Role and Responsibilities Perform market research and closely follow industry trends in nature-based solutions and technology-based solutions, including but not limited to, agriculture, forestry, carbon capture, low-carbon materials and low-carbon fuels sectors Support the evaluation and execution of investment opportunities through: Financial modelling, valuation analyses, and sensitivity & scenario analyses Technical evaluation of carbon crediting and carbon impact potential Conduct in-depth due diligence across commercial, financial, tax, ESG and legal workstreams, in conjunction with Corporate departments Preparing written analyses, evaluations and presentations for investment opportunities for use and review by relevant stakeholders Assist with the ongoing monitoring of portfolio companies, and undertake required analysis of performance against investment thesis and projected returns Support tracking of investment pipeline and pace of deployment, as well as dynamic portfolio allocation and construction Requirements: Candidates with Bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines in business, finance and/or environmental sciences or engineering/STEM fields preferred; fresh graduates are welcome to apply Ideal to have a strong interest in the area of sustainability and topics relating to carbon markets, nature-based solutions and technology-based solutions for decarbonisation Analytical problem-solver with attention to details Strong work ethic and demonstrated ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Strong research and due diligence capabilities High level of professionalism and personal integrity Note: Please submit your CV in pdf format.
