General Requirements: - Surveys - Conduct property loss control surveys to evaluate the property and business interruption exposures at client facilities based on NFPA Standards and others as appropriate.- Develop recommendations based on standards to include loss estimates before and after completion of the recommendations.- Evaluate automatic fire protection and water supply systems.- Report and evaluate building construction, occupancy, special and natural hazards.- Develop loss estimates based on scenarios such as the Maximum Foreseeable Loss- Provides training and peer review for other consultants; serve as a technical resource to other consultants- Services provided to clients include training, manual and program development, code or regulatory interpretation.- May prepare and present proposals, develop service instructions, solicit client feedback and prepare stewardship reports.- Work assigned is typical of higher technical need as well as being in direct contact with upper client management, including risk managers, financial managers, and other decision-makers.- Professional conduct and excellent written/verbal communication skills are required as the position requires direct contact with upper client management, including risk managers, financial managers, and other decision-makers- Provide project management services to include special visits, plan reviews, and oral/written presentations to clients.- Actively manage your work assigned in the database. Functional Requirements: - Review and respond to communication from clients and internal communication- Carry out fieldwork, report writing, consulting, and plan review.- Review workloads and revise accordingly- Come to a sound conclusion based on information collected and the applicable standards/guidelines required.- Gather and communicate information in a clear and concise report/letter/e-mail.- Ability to manage your own workload Qualifications: - 10+ years of consulting experience- Experience in servicing major accounts- Recognized technical expertise- Computer literate- Chemical and Semiconductor experience This job specification should not be construed to imply that these requirements are the exclusive standards of the position.
